Zachary + Ivana’s Red Rock Casino Resort Wedding in Las Vegas
Zachary and Ivana’s wedding at Red Rock Casino Resort in Las Vegas was elegant, emotional, playful, and full of the kind of real moments that make a wedding film feel personal.
From their first look and outdoor ceremony to heartfelt personal vows, romantic portraits throughout the resort, family toasts, and a packed dance floor, their day felt like a true reflection of who they are together.
Months before the wedding, we met at Red Rock for a Story Session to talk about how they met, the changes they had experienced together, and what they had learned about love.
One theme kept coming back:
Love isn’t only something you find. It’s something you keep choosing.
That idea became the heart of their wedding film.
A Wedding Day Built Around Real Moments
One of my favorite parts of Zachary and Ivana’s day was how much time they actually had to experience it.
They shared an emotional first look before the ceremony, which gave us time to create portraits earlier in the day. We photographed and filmed throughout Red Rock Casino Resort, including inside one of the resort’s bar spaces and outside in the warm Las Vegas light.
Because most of their portraits were already complete before the ceremony, they were also able to join their own cocktail hour and spend that time with the people they invited.
Those moments ended up becoming some of my favorite documentary footage from the entire wedding.
An Outdoor Ceremony at Red Rock Resort
Their ceremony took place outdoors at Red Rock, surrounded by colorful florals and the desert landscape of west Las Vegas.
Ivana walked down the aisle with her father before she and Zachary exchanged deeply personal vows.
During their Story Session months earlier, Zachary had talked about how Ivana made him feel seen and supported.
Then, during the ceremony, Ivana told him:
“But I see you, and I hear you, and I always will.”
She described Zachary as “the steady hand that guides the river.”
Later, Zachary promised her that he would always give her “a steady hand to hold.”
Those connections are exactly what I look for when creating a wedding film. The goal is not simply to show what happened. It is to understand why those moments matter to the people living them.

The reception brought together everything that had made the day feel so personal.
There were heartfelt speeches from both families and their closest friends, parent dances, cake cutting, and plenty of emotional moments.
And then the dance floor opened.
Their crowd was incredibly energetic, which gave the final part of the film a completely different feeling: less polished, more immediate, and full of movement.
At one point, Ivana looked around the room and said:
“I have never felt so much love in one place before.”
That line ended up feeling like the perfect summary of the entire wedding.
